Market Minute

Click on the link above to connect to a market update service provided on the Long & Foster web site called "Market Minute." It presents a monthly in-depth overview of market statistics for over 100 different counties across seven states in the Mid-Atlantic region. The site includes charts, graphs, and information about units sold, active inventory, median sale prices, months of supply, new listings, new contracts, list to sold price ratio, and days on market.

 After clicking on the link,  click the name of the county about which you want information to find out what the market activity has been for the past month in that county. 

What's Your Home Worth?

Click on the link above for a “Market Snapshot” of your neighborhood.  View the sample interactive map shown on this web page of mine. Then sign up online for a free online market report based on listings and sales near your home. Enter your name, address, email address, and some information about the home. You will receive an email within 30 minutes containing an interactive map showing active listings and recent sales around the location of your home. Your home will be shown by a green arrow. Hover over the pins indicating other listings or sales to see a pop-up box with a photo with information about that property.

 View a list of the properties around your home below the map showing the number of bedrooms and baths, asking or sold price, square footage, number of days on market, price per square foot, etc. View a bar graph comparing asking and recent sold prices by clicking on + sign in the lower right corner to expand the “Asking and Sold Prices” information. 

Click on the + sign to expand the “Time on Market “information and view a line graph of the properties grouped in relation to recent high and average home prices to find out if prices have been increasing or decreasing. View a similar line graph comparing days on market.
